To Everything There Is A Season

It’s hard to believe that the summer has come to an end and we are starting another year of school.

I’m one of the crazy Mamas that wasn’t quite ready for school to start. Not gonna lie, the kids would get on my nerves at times and I’m sure I got on theirs, but it always just seems like summer flies by.

I enjoyed taking them to the park, out for lunch, the relaxed schedule, the pool days; but at the same time, I will be glad for the structure that school brings.

As I set out their backpacks and made their lunches, I couldn’t help but wonder where my babies went. My mom would always say “wait until you have kids, time flies.” She wasn’t kidding. It’s as if one year has blurred into another. And here we are with a Pre-schooler, a 1st Grader, and a 3rd Grader. Doesn’t seem possible.

I am definitely realizing how short seasons are. Ecclesiastes 3:1 :”To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”

I plan on enjoying each season. Making the most of it. As this season comes to an end, I am looking forward to enjoying the new one. New memories, fresh starts.

The “school fairy” visited our house. This has become a tradition. I sure hope the girls remember the little things and enjoy each season, too. Life is just so short to do anything but enjoy it.

Whatever “season” you are in, I hope that you are enjoying it, too. <3
